HTRI collected water-to-water liquid heat transfer and pressure drop data in a shell-and-plate heat exchanger provided by Tranter, Inc. This report discusses the data, analysis, and correlations for predicting heat transfer coefficients and pressure drops for shell-and-plate heat exchangers. Additional data are required for development of generalized methods.
