HTRI analyzed the heat transfer correlation in Xchanger Suite for falling film evaporators, comparing it to other correlations available in the open literature. This study focused specifically on correlations for single-component liquid film. From our analysis, we developed a new correlation for determining the heat transfer coefficient.
