A study is presented to demonstrate that at high vapor shear the heat transfer performance for condensation of mixtures inside a tube is independent of tube orientation. Experimental data for condensation of Pentane/p-Xylene mixtures in the shear regime are compared against the resistance proration method for condensation inside a vertical tube and inside a horizontal tube.
